Lisa Mihm (b. 1973, Milwaukee, WI) is a visual artist whose work is a personal ecosystem of fantasy objects that take the form of paintings, drawings, and sculptures. Mihm has shown at the Museum of Contemporary Art-Santa Barbara, Lombard Freid (New York), and Angles Gallery (Los Angeles), has exhibited internationally, and has been written about in the Los Angeles Times and The New York Times. Her work is included in the permanent collections of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, the Long Beach Museum of Art, and the Luckman Gallery Fine Arts Collection at California State University, Los Angeles. She earned her MFA in 2000 from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she later served as a Post Graduate Teaching Fellow and Visiting Lecturer. Mihm maintains a studio in Seattle, WA.
